A-rated Windows
With uPvc double glazed replacement windows you can specify your optimum combination of fixed and opening window. A wide range of recommended sizes and styles are available offering superb value. You can specify how many openings each window has and whether these are side or top hung. The contours of our window profile make it one of the most attractive, robust replacement windows available. Within our double glazing we use high quality clear Planitherm glass.
RCM (Recycled Composite Material) within its window frame. This is supplied as a thermal improvement to either steel or aluminium sections, RCM is an eco & therefore enviromentally friendly alternative, offering superb benefits where the anchorage of hardware is required in home improvements such as casement windows, sash windows and door outer frames.
This system of window manufacturing helps to retain a safe enviroment for future generations. The method of fixing RCM is simple and is done in the conventional way that metallic reinforcements are fixed within the frame. Our contemporary styled upvc frame can be easily welded and can provide 20% - 30% higher weld strength than using traditional reinforcement materials. RCM boasts excellent screw retention, with a screw pull out value greater than steel
It's five chamber, 70mm front to back design minimises energy use in the home and its high level of recycled content in the RCM reinforcement, means it uses fewer raw materials during production. As a PVC-U replacement product it also has a 35 year lifespan after which it can be recycled up to 10 times to give a total life of 350 years. In addition to a standard white finish our Swish 'A' rated window also comes in an increased range of foiled woodgrain finishes:
